MONICA
is a commercial and fine art photographer currently based in the Southeast and New York City. She grew up in Australia and studied photography at UNC-Chapel Hill and Ohio University. After college she moved to New York City and became photo assistant for legendary photographer, Albert Watson.
Since then, Monica has built an award-winning photo studio, shooting for prestigious clients such as Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Dillard’s, Chanel, Movado, Vogue, Coca-Cola, Gillette, Montblanc, Sotheby’s, Hippeas, and Whidbey Tea.
Monica has a passion for animals and spends her free time with her dressage horse, Brooklyn. Her love of creatures inspired her to create a series of portraits of dogs, horses, donkeys and animals paired with their humans. Her work has been exhibited at SEC4P Gallery in Greenville, The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO, The Badrutt’s Palace in St. Moritz and is currently on view and represented by The Gallery at Flat Rock, NC..
Monica has a studio in Spartanburg, SC that includes a full-service kitchen for food shoots.
